Tompkins Consolidated Area Transit
Tompkins Consolidated Area Transit (TCAT) is Ithaca NY's Heart of transportation, operating 33 routes with 54 buses (51 35 + foot buses, 3 mini passanger buses) running through Cornell, Ithaca Commons, ithaca mall, and many rual commuters throughout Tompkins coutny. TCAT operates 360 days a year, and 22 hours each day, getting you to work, recreational areas, or the S. Medow st. Shopping area for groceries and home nesesities. TCAT also has weekend routes running to the Ithaca mall, as well as some of the main weekday routes, including some rual commuters. Students that go to TC3, Ithaca college, or Cornell University don't need a car! There is also Ithaca carshare, a car rental service where you can rent a vehicle and take it where ever you want in a short rental period. The cars for Ithaca Carshare are located right near bus stops all over Ithaca.

Big Red Bullet bus
Big red Bullet is Ithaca's newest NYC-Ithaca commuter, transporting people from green street to Bryant Park, in the big apple. It is currently competing against Campuse2campus, with cheaper tickets and better conveinence for certain Ithacans. Campus2Campus buses are way more expensive, however, these buses only stop at locations around Cornell's Campus. There are also Greyhounds that go to NYC from Ithaca, but their trips can last up to 5 hours.
